Wir haben 4 Nächte in der Satta Lodge verbracht um unsere Reise abzuschließen. Die einzelnen Bungalows sind sauber & sehr gepflegt. Die beiden Manager sind ebenfalls super nett & hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine gute Auswahl & war lecker. Leider hatten wir das Pech, dass es fast durchgehend geregnet hat. Da die Zimmer oben und teilweise an den Wänden offen und nur mit Fliegengittern versehen sind, wurde unsere Kleidung & die Bettwäsche leider sehr klamm (und etwas muffig), was echt unangenehm war. (Dies war uns bei der Buchung über Booking leider nicht ersichtlich!) In der Theorie ist dieses offene Konzept (man ist wirklich MITTEN im Dschungel) toll, jedoch nicht 100% praktisch - zumal allerhand kleines Getier versucht ins Zimmer zu gelangen und es auch immer wieder schafft. Achtung: es gibt keine Klimaanlage sondern nur Ventilatoren in den „normalen“ Bungalows. Was uns zudem etwas verwundert hat: nach dem Frühstück ab 9:30 Uhr ist niemand mehr vor Ort bis 15 Uhr. Man hat also keine Möglichkeit vorher einzuchecken oder etwas zu trinken zu bekommen (außer des Wasserspenders) Checkout ist bereits um 10 Uhr. Und: da das Hotel auf einem Berg & Schotterpiste liegt, ist ein SUV / 4x4 auf jeden Fall von Vorteil (grade bei Regen!) Alles in Allem eine wirklich tolle Anlage, man muss sich nur darüber bewusst sein dass es in den Zimmern auch mal laut & klamm/feucht werden kann.

Satta Lodge es un paraíso. Cuenta con unos pocos de bungalós, cada uno de ellos prácticamente privado, perfecto para parejas. Es un espacio de acogedor, de paz y calma. Paola y Rafael, sus anfitriones, cuidan cada día todos los detalles y el trato es muy cercano. Además nos dieron información de actividades, restaurantes y pudimos disfrutar de un masaje en las instalaciones. Tienen aparcamiento privado y está muy la playa. Repetiríamos siempre. 10/10

Positiv: - Schöne, moderne und neuwertige Anlage umgeben von dichtem tropischen Wald - Tiere ringsherum - Einzelne, kleine Bungalows jeweils räumlich getrennt, ruhig und voll ausgestattet - Schöner Balkon/Veranda - Parkmöglichkeit - Gutes Wifi - Leckeres Frühstück mit tollem Service - Nicht weit vom Strand, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants Negativ: - Üble, steile ä Zufahrt von der Hauptstrasse; man benötigt das Fahrzeug regelmässig - Parken aufgrund Gegebenheiten anspruchsvoll - Klimaanlage mit wenig Einstellmöglichkeiten - Lagebedingt relativ dunkel; feucht im Bungalow Insgesamt Empfehlung - für uns waren 3 Tage aber ausreichend

What a great place. We are 2 Canadian couples and spent 16 wonderful days at Satta Lodge. The most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The staff are fantastic especially the management team of Bryan and Bobbie nothing was too much trouble. The included breakfast was great, especially enjoyed the crepes. The tapas menu was also exceptional faves were the beef burrito and the fruit flambes. Local restaurants we loved are Grow ( vegetarian) Gypsea, Morian and the meat lover dream Que Quilombo. Can recommend the white water rafting and dolphin watching trips.

Little gem of a place hidden away at the top of a fairly rough track. Very walkable to sodas and even the supermarket but if you’re staying here you’ve probably got a car anyway. Is exactly how it’s shown on the website. Clean, well managed, secure and private. Bryan organised a tour for us with Ariel to visit the Yorkin community. Highly recommend. It was really informative and very welcoming plus exciting to get there via dug out canoe! Might sound expensive but by the time you leave you realise you would probably have paid more to ensure their BriBri culture survives. The accommodation itself was 100% comfortable and everything had been thought of, including umbrellas for those early morning downpours! The morning alarm from the Howler monkeys was certainly a wake up call but if you’re here for a few days - which you definitely should be - then you get used to all the sounds pretty quickly! Would definitely return if we ever came back.

Alojamiento en bungalows. Excel·lents sitio que te permite disfrutar de las playas de Puerto Viejo, Cocles y Punta Uva, además de adentrarte en la preciosa jungla y dormir en ella. Tuvimos visita de monos congos. La limpieza de todo es buena, y la atención por parte del personal exquisita. El desayuno muy completo. No dudes en elegir si quieres sentirte parte de la jungla caribeña. Gracias Rafael.

Satta Lodge est le lieu parfait pour une immersion dans la nature luxuriante de la côte caraïbes. Le lieu est géré avec passion par Paola et Raphaël qui font tout leur possible pour mettre les hôtes à l'aise. Ce logement est destiné principalement aux personnes désirant être en contact avec la nature et acceptant une certaine humidité (pas d'A/C) et les bruits de la nature. Les perroquets perruches et autres singes hurleurs peuvent mettre une belle ambiance le matin! Il est recommandé d'avoir un véhicule car la lodge est à presque 1 km de la route principale.

The bungalows are beautiful, but the junior suites are haven. The interior is simple but so nice. The pool is genius. Paola and Rafaël are the perfekt hosts. We had a super nice stay, and we definitely recommend this place. We were lucky to try both sort of rooms, and as I said, they are both lovely, but if you can, take the junior suite with a jungleshower experience. Breakfast is also nice
